Ways to Clean the Pores on the Nose at Home

There is a high concentration of sebaceous glands on the chin, forehead and nose. If the skin is naturally oily, these areas will shine from the excessive production of sebum. It’s especially noticeable in areas with rather hot weather. The pores through which excess sebum comes out of get clogged. If you don’t clean the pores, plugs get formed into something that look like black dots. In neglected cases, the inflammatory process begins.

Why are the pores on your nose clogged:

  1. If it’s hot outdoors or indoors, the sebaceous glands tend to work more intensively.
  2. You select the given skin care products incorrectly. You should choose cosmetics by taking into account your type of skin and then try products from different manufacturers.
  3. You use nutritious cosmetics that include oils.
  4. If you clean the surface of your skin strictly occasionally. If you fail to clean your face in the morning and in the evening, the pores on the nose clog up almost immediately.
  5. Cleaning is only superficial. It’s not enough to wash your face in the evening so that there are no black dots. Wipe the face with tonic, milk and other products.

If you can’t visit a cosmetologist once every 1-2 weeks, it’s advisable to do a deep cleansing of the skin at home. In this process, pay special attention to the pores on your nose, which tend to get clogged first. For this purpose, you should use peelings, scrubs, film masks and warming masks. Before the procedure, clean your face and steam it using inhalation or a hot compress.

How to clean the pores on your nose at home:

  1. Grate a small cucumber. Add 1-2 tbsp of starch or flour to the resulting liquid. Potato or corn starch as well as rye flour will do. The mass should take the consistency of thick sour cream. Apply it to the face with soft circular movements. Massage the bridge area of the nose and then the rest of the nose. Leave it for 10 minutes.
  2. Pour 2 tbsp of finely ground coffee with 30 ml of boiling water. Cover it. When it cools down, apply it to your face and then to the sides of the nose for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat 30 ml of milk to make it warmer than room temperature. Add a pinch of gelatin and wait until it swells. Crush a tablet of activated carbon, add it to the gelatin and mix it. Apply the prepared product evenly, without rubbing it in. After half an hour, remove the film.
  4. Squeeze the juice out of 2 leaves of aloe into a bowl. Add 1 tbsp of warm water and the same amount of white clay. The mixture should become viscous and thick. Apply it to the skin for 15 minutes.
  5. Grind 2 tbsp of oat flakes with a coffee grinder. Add 3 tbsp of warm water. Apply the product for 30 minutes.

After cleaning the pores on the nose, rinse your face with cool water and apply a moisturizing cream. It’s important that the cream is not greasy — otherwise, you’ll have to repeat the procedure of cleaning your pores the next day.
